The Western Way is a 50km, long-distance walking trail. It is divided here into 5 sections each representing a half days walking. The trail starts in Oughterard and ends in Lahinch.

Walking Route Terrain:
About 5 km road, 4 km path. Road very quiet though narrow with little space for walkers; section climbs quite high to cross over pass; second part quite remote

Reasonably good
