Lughnasa Festival at Craggaunowen

Media 7529 enThe Celtic harvest festival of 'Lughnasa' which also means 'August' in the Irish language, takes its name from the Irish god Lugh, one of the chief gods of the mystical clann the Tuatha De Danann. The Lughnasa Festival at Craggaunowen will feature costumed re-enactors from the Bronze Age to Medieval times. Enjoy combat and ancient cooking demonstrations and lots more.
