October 11th - 17th - Today, Baboró International Arts Festival for Children is recognised as the leading Irish Arts Festival devoted exclusively to children. Over 60,000 children have attended shows and participated in workshops since Baboró began in 1997.

October 25th-31st 2010 - Galway Theatre Festival provides an opportunity for emerging local and national theatre companies to showcase new and revised work. The inaugural Galway Theatre Festival in 2008 was directed by Andrew Flynn and produced by the Galway Arts Centre. The Irish Times Culture magazine listed the festival as one of the highlights of 2008. Last year's box office success was testament to the local support for the arts and the festival could not have happened without the support of the Galway community.

October 29th - 31st (to be confirmed) - Ghosts, zombies, vampires, demons and all kinds of other strange beings will be taking to the streets of Galway’s ‘Latin Quarter’ as the city will be transformed into Ghoulway, and will come alive with free wicked entertainment!
