Jump On – Jump Off with Galway Tour Company:
How this Works - an easy (and enjoyable!) way to travel to Sleepzone – The Burren is with Galway Tour Company. The bus collects at Sleepzone Galway City every day at 9.45am, does a tour of The Burren, and you can ‘Jump Off’ at Sleepzone – The Burren at about 2.00pm. When you would like to return to Galway City you can simply ‘Jump On’ again, complete the tour of The Burren and return to Galway City by about 6.00pm. Discount tickets are available at Reception at Sleepzone Galway City.
This tour includes a two-hour stop at the Cliffs of Moher, Dunguaire Castle, Poulnabrone Dolmen and Kilfenora Cathedral.
Driving:
From Shannon Airport: on exiting the airport take the N18 to Ennis. From Ennis take the N85 to Ennistymon and from Ennistymon take the N67 to Lisdoonvarna.
From Galway: Take the N18 southwards from Galway. In Kilcolgan take a right turn onto the N67; go through Kinvara and then Ballyvaughan headed towards Lisdoonvarna. Journey of 40 miles (1 hour +).
