There are more then six hundred and fifty different flowers, plants, and ferns, in The Burren area. To celebrate this amazing botanical wealth a series of illustrated talks throughout the month of May have been organised to give people an understanding of The Burren, how it was formed, how it continues to support this truly wonderful riches of natural Growth.
There will be organised walks available to view the wild flowers and the many ancient sites that exist throughout the area. Irish music will be provided in the local hotels and pubs throughout the month in addition to stories on local folklore.
